North America is situated in the Earth's northern hemisphere and between the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean and to the north of South America. It covers an area of about 24,709,000 square kilometers and its population is estimated at nearly 529 million people (as on 2008). It is the third-largest continent by area, following Asia and Africa, and the fourth in population after Asia, Africa, and Europe.

In North America there are 23 countries and are divided in to Mainland North America, Central America, Caribbean and Other territories. The Mainland includes countries; the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Territories Greenland, Bermuda and Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

Disney's California theme park is adjacent to the original Disneyland. This park consists of five areas: Sunshine Plaza, Hollywood Pictures Back lot, The Golden State, A Bug's Land and Paradise Pier.
